Would love to hear some reports and reviews of RS tours taken in July. There isn’t many of them on the Our Tours website list. Trying to decide best time to take next tour. Thanks

Given that it is likely to be hotter than hell in southern Europe in July, Rick Steves generally does not offer many tours to Italy, Spain or France during that time of year. I highly suggest visiting any of those countries any other month but July and August if possible.

I agree totally. I would NOT want to go to Italy or Spain, in particular, in July or August. I would be miserable.

And remember that Paris will be hosting the summer olympics in July/August 2024 so it will be CROWDED. I don't think Rick Steves has any tours scheduled for Paris during that timeframe.

Personally I like traveling in May and/or September, but I bet mid-summer would be a great time to visit Scandinavia. Maybe Scotland?
Southern Europe does sound too warm that time of year. Of course, I'm leaving for France in just over 3 weeks but the tour technically starts in September.

There are quite a few tours offered in July - go to this page and select 2024 tours and July for the month, it will show you everything available: https://www.ricksteves.com/tours/all
There are several tours that cover Italy and France, but none for Spain. The reviews section for the VFR and Heart of Italy are just now showing reviews from July trips taken this year.
