Seeking first hand experience information on possibilities of having to Quarantine in Vienna after a positive Covid test.
Countries are different in there enforcement of lockdown in your room. Can anyone comment? I have upcoming RS trip and concerned about Austria’s strict guidelines. I just experienced a quarantine 5 days in Netherlands day before departure. I was not locked in my room. Tested Negative on 5th day and flew home. Thanks

You may get a certificate of recovery from your doctor that would be good for up to 90 days from your infection. With this certificate, you do not need to test to return (within that 90 day period) and quarantine would not be a worry. It sounds like this may be the solution for you.
