We just returned from RS Heart of Italy tour 9/10-18/2023. What a fantastic experience! Rome and Florence were incredible with history and so many sights (and lots of people!). From St Peter's, Vatican Museums, Uffizi, Accademia, to the recharge cities of Volterra and Cinque Terre, an absolutely wonderful experience. Our guide Cristina is amazing- teaching us phrases, showing us ways to get around most efficiently, giving us history and culture lessons every step of the way. She used the time on our bus rides between towns to give us hundreds of years of relevant local and World history that impacted Italy and Europe. From the entire group, grazie mille Cristina!

We took the same Heart of Italy tour this June -July and absolutely love it. That was our family's very first trip to Europe and very first RS tour. We were so impressed by both the culture, cuisine and tour guide.

So happy you enjoyed this tour! It was my first RS tour and my first visit to Italy! Unfortunately it fostered a love of RS tours and European travel in general, lol!

Our first RS tour also. What a wonderful r patience filled with many memories. My first time in Italy. So glad we added 3 nights in Venice on at the end. Planning the day or two before a tour and any time after is enough for me. (I had been to Europe 3X before that was self planned with the help of RS books).
I do enjoy turning everything over to the tour guides and the RS way of life. We did Best of Switzerland in 2022, Best of Paris and Central Europe for 2024.
