Have you gone on the Berlin, Prague & Vienna in 12 Days Tour?

Hello! If you've been on the Berlin, Prague & Vienna tour this past year, would you mind sharing the names of the hotels you stayed at? I know they may be different for 2024, but it would be helpful to get an idea of what hotels they've used for location and service level/amenities. Thank you!

The hotels may change from tour date to tour date. Sharing them could be unintentionally misleading and confusing. For example I took the RS Turkey tour in September. My tour hotel was in Karakoy district near Galata tower. The tour before and the tour after me began at hotels in Sultanahmet. It has been 5 years since I took the BPV tour. Each were excellent and centrally located.

I've been on lots of RS tours.
In general, the company prefers to use smaller, family run hotels in the center of things. Usually not too fancy, though sometimes they have been nicer than I might choose on my own. They vary quite a bit, even on the same tour.

I am booked on this tour Sept 22- Oct 3. The first hotel in Berlin is Hotel Kastanienhof. The last hotel in Vienna was to be K+K Hotel Maria Theresia. When I enquired about booking an extra night at the Vienna Hotel, they told me they would be closed for renovations from August 1st onward. I spoke to the RSE office, who were unaware of the closure. They confirmed it and sent me an email that they were looking for another hotel to use.
When you are on a RS tour, they just let you know the first and last hotel of the tour, unless it’s a city tour where you remain in the same accomodation.

I took the B,P&V tour in June. Very interesting historically and quite intense because of the region’s 20th century history. Worth every minute of it for that reason.

Hotels where the tour stayed. I traveled solo. If you are a couple your experience may vary.
Berlin: Myer’s Hotel. Nice, easy access by tram to most transport and sights.
Dresden: Hotel Martha. OK, walking distance to old town.
Prague: Hotel Leon d’Oro. Nice room with kitchenette. Walking distant through old town and to concerts.
Cesky Krumlov: Hotel Bellevue. OK, walking distance to old town.
Vienna: Hotel Regina. Absolutely the worst hotel room in the three RS tours I have taken. The guide changed my room.
