Hi everyone,
I'm considering the My Way Alps 12 day tour, but my husband and I like to mix up our travel between cities and picturesque towns. It seems the Alps tour is heavy on the latter. Have any of you taken the tour? Was it beautiful but beautifully redundant or did you feel there was significant variation between locales?

There is a pretty good scrapbook that was from a 2014 My Way Alpine tour that you might want to look at. Looks like they really enjoyed the trip and it gives a lot of good info about the tour.

That tour also starts in Salzburg which is a great city. You could easily go a few days early and spend time in Vienna or Munich before going to Salzburg. That would give you two great cities and then some of the best scenery you will ever see. Salzburg has always been one of my favorite cities in Europe.
I'm taking that tour this year. I'm flying into Vienna for a long weekend first. The tour ends in Chamonix and you could easily add a couple of days in Geneva or Bern at the end.
For me, the allure of this tour is spending so much time in nature, away from towns and cities!
