I am wondering if the RS tour books are updated every year. I have noticed that the Paris guide book has a 2016 edition, but the London guide book is 2015. We are going on the BOP and BOL tour in 9/2016 and I would like to buy my guidebooks with my $100 credit, but will wait if the London guidebook will be updated for 2016. Thanks for any info regarding this.

At the RS online shop, the London 2015 guidebook indicates that the next edition will be coming in December 2015. Look under "specifications" at the bottom.

So many of the great European societies have been around for hundreds of years. And it's so nice that these old cities don't change much from year to year.
I often plan trips on information in travel guide books that are 8-10 years old. And the only difference for the most part is the prices posted.
I buy these travel guides in our library's used bookstore for a buck or two.
