Got our tour docs!

I know we weren't supposed to get our tour docs for our upcoming Loire to the South of France tour until April 1, but I haven't been able to keep from peeking. Daily. And today, there they are!

Our guide is Arnaud Servignat, and there are 26 people on the tour. Whoop!

Now to start checking for our Best of South Italy tour...

That’s exciting! I hope you will post trip reports. I’m on that tour (the France one) in June.

Whoop whoop, Jane! You’re a woman after my own heart. I made my final payment yesterday and resisted checking for docs. I’m about a month behind you. I fly on May 17 and meet the Eastern France tour on May 29 after some time is Paris. After all this time it’s getting real now. Have a wonderful time and we will eagerly await your trip report. Bon voyage!

Happy dance! I may start looking for our South Italy tour docs, too but it’s about 10 days away before they are supposed to be posted.

I can’t wait for your tour report Jane. I’m taking the same tour Sept 11.
You’ll love the South of Italy tour. It was my first RS tour three years ago. I’m curious how the tour compares pre- and post-Covid.
Enjoy!!

After Mary posted, I remembered to look in the tour documents and there they were for our RS Sicily tour. Now, thanks to Jane, I’ll start checking daily for our My Way Italy docs that aren’t supposed to land until Apr. 8th. To all who are going on the Southern Italy tour, I’m so glad that was our final trip before lockdown because we had such rich and exceptional memories to hold on to. Another bonus for our Sicily trip is having the same guide, Tomasso, as on our So. Italy tour.

Arnaud is terrific - very kind, very knowledgeable, very organized and very French. You'll be well taken care of.

Woohoo!! That makes it seem real, doesn't it?

I've not traveled with Arnaud but he did a presentation at a long-ago RS travel weekend and I thought he was awesome!

I haven't been on this tour but my wife and I spent a week in the Dordogne several years ago and it is my favorite region in the whole world; Rick Steves' too based on his video tour of the area. Sarlat is a very special town. Enjoy the truffles and fois gras.
