Going on the August 13 GAS tour?

Hi Everyone,

I realize very few tour members actually check out the forum (every tour, I ask and most people have never heard of it - weird). So, I realize this is unlikely, but is anyone here taking the GAs tour on August 13?

Feel free to respond and say, "Hi!"

:) Gretchen

Well I will say "Hi" even though I am not going on your tour. Would love to hear a report when you get back. Took the Sicily off season in April and loved it.

Hi Gretchen, I'm not on your tour but I took it in 2010 and had a great time. Wonderful variety of sites and a great group of people. I hope you enjoy your tour and report back. Bon voyage!

Hi Gretchen,
I'm not on your tour but I took it in June-July of 2013. We had such a fantastic time! Bring a packable raincoat, just in case. I highly recommend the sauna in Baden Baden, regardless of your comfort level; you don't have to bare it all. The clothing optional part is truly optional and away from the general public. Hallstatt is to die for. We decided to not do the salt mine tour, instead we spent a leisurely time eating lunch by the lake, then hosted a happy hour on our lakeside patio for others who stayed behind. Secret hint tell the guide you will forgo a patio/balcony in every location as long as you get one in Hallstatt Rent bikes in Salzburg and find your way to the SOM gazebo. It's a beautiful bike ride. Walk up to the monastery at night for a great night view. Get tickets for a musical performance. We bought ours for the Mirabel Palace before we left home and picked them up at will call. It was magical. Any chance you get take the walk and explore the area you're in.
Have fun and enjoy!!
