Going to Italy in November, 2016, for first time on Rick Steve Venice-Florence-Rome tour. Flying into Rome the day before the tour begins in Venice. I need info on the fastest high speed train to get from Rome to Venice. I know it's way too early to make any train reservations, but this research and reading spreads out the fun and excitement. Any suggestions? Do I really need to make train reservations from home or can I buy the tickets once landing in Rome and getting to Termini?
