I am going on this tour in Aug 2016. When does your tour start? Are you going to Trier early and are you staying in Vienna after the tour ends?

We are going on the tour that starts 9/24/16. Like everyone else has asked when are you going? Still figuring out what to do before and after the tour.

I am staying one day prior to the tour in Trier and four nights in Vienna. There are tons of things to see in Vienna.

We're going in July. We're doing some independent travel in England first, but we're arriving a day early in Trier. Aside from getting settled in, we plan to do some strolling around and see some of the sights not covered on the tour. There are also 1-2 hour boat cruises up the Mosel that seem like fun. We're not staying any longer in Vienna; actually heading back to Switzerland to meet up with friends who live there.
