Very nice to have this info on how things are going so far on the tours that have launched.
Thanks for sharing this.
Oh wow…thanks!!
Fun to read the updates! I guess they have a team of backup guides ready to roll.
This will be interesting!
Bookmarked and excited!
Thank you for the link
I continue to be amazed at the ways RS and company keep finding to make traveling during/after/living with(??) a pandemic more reassuring. Love the new weekly report posts and the Wellness refund policy. Looking forward to our Best of Ireland in May!
Thanks for posting! I didn’t see this before. Glad things seem to be going well so far.
Thanks for the link Denise. It was so good to get a current and true account of what’s happening now. It sounds encouraging to me.
His tours are just starting. I will be curious to know if the groups have avoided getting covid. Perhaps to soon to tell and would they report that back to us?

We require a negative COVID test within 48 hours of a tour starting. Several tour members arrived without a test but they were able to quickly get tested at a pharmacy near their tour hotel and join the "welcome" meeting. (COVID tests cost about $25 in Europe.) Also a guide tested positive prior to the start of their tour (thankfully with minor symptoms). We had a replacement guide ready to go and were able to start the tour without a hitch. I doubt there will be a detailed weekly casualty report listing who got left where, but if there were to be an issue there might be some general comment. RS is very good about client privacy. That is why you get a list of 1st names and home town of your tour mates and the exchange of any additional info is up to those on the tour.
Where is this link on RS homepage?
Thanks
Hi. Click on Our Tours. On that page, among the main graphics in the center, you will see a photo of a bus and the words: From our bus tours in Europe and See weekly on-the-road reports.
Found it. Tks
How current tours were going was exact topic I was interested in and did not notice the link on RS tour page. Thank you for posting this information. We are on 4 April Greece tour and 22 April Paris and Heart of France tour.
What a great idea. Helps people who are nervous about an upcoming tour. Maybe they should continue doing this indefinitely.
Hi all,
I’m currently on the RS Best of Sicily tour. It’s going so well. The guide and my fellow tour mates are awesome. We do have to wear a mask on the bus and upon entry to indoor sites. Everyone is so happy to see us - local guides, sites and restaurants. You will be asked to present your CDC card at many sites.
Kathy, that is so good to hear!
Kathy: So glad to hear - we are taking this tour in early April (originally going in March 2020 before COVID shut everything down). Have fun!
Such great news! Who is your tour guide? Is it a full tour? Can’t wait to go!
Kathy, thank you for the update from Sicily, I am on the March 29 Best of Sicily!
Hi again!
Nina is my guide and she is fabulous! There are 19 people on this tour.
Those of you going on this tour will absolutely love it!
