Free Time Recommendations?: Best of Ireland in 14 Days Tour

I am looking into the Best of Ireland in 14 Days Tour for next year. (If anyone has any recommendations on best time to go I would appreciate it). I was wondering what time does a typical day start and end? Do you have free time every day?

Looking for recommendations for what to do in the free time.

I took this tour in 2018. Our time to meet the group varied from 8am to almost 9am. We of course needed to get our breakfast and some days be packed and ready to get on the bus by the time. There weren't large stretches of time each day, but there was one afternoon free in Dublin, a free day in Dingle and many days we finished planned events around 2 or 3 with no group dinner that evening. Days that included a bus drive would have less free time, but there would be stops during the day to see something and have an hour or so on your own. But 2nd days anywhere you almost always were free for a couple hours in the afternoon and then the evening.

Your guide will probably recommend some activities. You could also Google the town where you will have free time and check on things to do there. We took this trip last fall and were never at a loss for things to do.
