Food and wine tours Tuscany

My husband and I will be spending a week in Tuscany in September. We are interested in food and wine combo tours. In particular Chianti and Brunello wines. Most tours I see in my searches are based out of Florence, but we will NOT be based out of Florence; instead we will be in Montalcino. We will have a car so could drive to a location for a tour. Recommendations?

With a car you have the option of doing it yourself. We did that several years ago following recommendations from one of the wine magazines that listed dozen top wineries to visit in Tuscany. I think it was Wine Spectator and I am sure you find it on their web site. We hit about three, sometimes four a day. You must make advance reservations and pay a fee for tours of the better wineries. You don't just drop in as you do in CA. We had a couple of meals at wineries that were expensive but worth it. But they were three to five course meals with pair wines for each course. With a little planning you can do it on your own since you have a car.
