I am signed up for Heart of Belgium and Holland tour that starts on March 30. The information on the tour document says that final payment is due 60 days before your tour starts. My original invoice says that payment is due on January 28. I looked on my tour account tonight to refresh my memory about when I needed to send in payment. My online account now says that payment is due February 27 (which is 33 days before the tour starts) Has anyone else noticed whether their date has changed since the Omicron variant has shown up? I’m wondering if mine has been changed because they are being cautious since it is only a month until I will need to pay. Or perhaps there is a mistake on my account. I might call the Rick Steves office next week and see what is going on.

Our tour payment is showing that it is due February 24 which is 2 months before the departure date of April 26.

just checked ours. Our Sicily Tour starts March 6 final payments is due Feb 3. Dec 31 ia last date to cancel for deposit refund.

That means that your final payment got moved up as well. Your payment is due 33 days before your tour starts. Mine is also 33 days before our tour starts. I didn’t have time today to call the Rick Steves office. I am guessing that they are afraid they will have to refund our money if they eventually cancel our tour. It costs them money to refund if it is cancelled after we make a final payment. (Credit card fees). I will be using a credit card that will give me some protection instead of getting the check discount. I keep hoping that omicron moves in and out quickly.

I called the Rick Steves office yesterday and they said that all the February and March tours had their Final Payment days moved back to 32 days before the tour starts. They said that they were hoping to make the tour members a little more comfortable with the final payment.
