Family Europe trips

My husband and I are very interested in one of the family trips, but we don’t have young children. Are adult travelers without children welcome? We love kids…I was a teacher for 28 years.

Thanks!

Just my .02cents, but without kids, I'd just do a regular tour. The pace and things you see and learn will be more geared to you. The tours are fabulous. We've loved every one we've been on - but I think our favorites have been Venice, Florence, Rome and the MY WAY Alpine tour.

I’ve been on the My Way Europe tour, which had mixed adults and families. One perk of kids on the tours is the extra energy! Ask the RS office if they have rules regarding who can go.

If it is just you and your spouse and you don't want to travel without a tour, I would find a different tour set for adults instead of a family tour. The other tours are better geared for adult experiences.

I chose this tour because I'm getting older and this trip seemed to be slightly less strenuous, according to the itinerary. I would have preferred a longer trip with more countries but I didn't want to press my luck. I'll be traveling with my 18 year old grandson.
