Bonjour! My husband and I will be on the Rick Steve's Loire to the South of France tour beginning May 25. We will be in Nice with time to spend on our own the afternoon of June 5. Has anyone done the excursion Rick talks about in his France book about the scenic railway that leaves from the Chemins de Fer de Provence station. Was it worthwhile doing for an afternoon? What did you think of it? We could go to the Chagall Museum instead, but we really like seeing natural beauty if we can. Thank you.
have you checked their website? I'm fairly sure that there has been ongoing work on the line and that trains haven't been running...
but I may be entirely incorrect
This sounded interesting, as I will be in Nice late in 2026.
It looks like it is not running in 2025.

Oh, thank you. We will spend our time in Nice, then. I appreciate your helpfulness.
