Connections from Nice to Reims 9/10/22

We are combining two tours: Loire to the South of France and Best of Eastern France. Is anyone interested in working together/ or proving suggestions on making the connection between Nice and Reims on 9/10/22?

I think the fastest way is a flight from Nice to CDG airport, then a train from CDG to Champagne-Ardenne station, on the outskirts of Reims (with tram and taxis available).
On 10th September, there is a direct train from CDG to Champagne-Ardenne at 17.28, taking only 30 minutes: this would tie in very well with the 13:20 or (with only cabin luggage) the 14:30 flights out of Nice on Easyjet.

You could also take the train all the way: better for the environment, but it is a whole day affair with either an awkward transfer between stations across Paris, or lengthy waits in Marseille and in Marne-La-Vallée.

I would avoid flying to CDG. Instead, take direct TGV fast train from Nice to Paris Lyon station. Take easy taxi from Paris Lyon to Paris Est station, then direct train to Reims. Total travel time is about 8 hours, but far less hassle and stress than flight to CDG.
