Wondering if I should bring a dress and sandals. Bathing suit? Specifically wondering if any of the tour hotels have pools. Very interested in hearing from people who have been on these two tours.

Always a good idea to bring a swimsuit and beach/pool/shoes/shower sandals. Just in case: we had a spa and a pool available but sadly they did not allow au natural, LOL!

I was on the Basque tour in September 2025 and temperatures were warm enough for swimming in San Sebastian. Lots of locals were at the beach soaking up the sun. However, I don’t remember any of the tour hotels having a pool.

We were there in mid-May 2024 and everyone is wearing a jacket in my pictures. However, if you are used to swimming in cold water, people were swimming in the water at the beach in Biarritz (we arrived 2 days early for the tour) and also in San Sebastián. Since tours don’t always use the same hotels, once you get your hotel list you can Google the hotels to see if they list a pool.
