I posted this in the Hotel forum, but thought I'd try here as well. We are planning to explore the area between Florence and Rome after the Heart of Italy tour, and are trying to decide a location that would make day trips easy. We are thinking of San Gimignano, Siena, Montepulciano, Cortona and Montalcino. We are thinking that an agriturismo would give us a chance to relax, cook, and take our time after a 9 day tour. We are also looking to take a cooking class in the Florence or Tuscan area....any suggestions?
