BOE21 Tour Starting Sept. 15

Hi, yes I will be on the same tour. Looking forward to the entire experience! Have you traveled with RS before? I keep checking for a list of fellow travelers, hotels, etc. even though it isn't supposed to post until 8/16. Hope they aren't counting the number of times I checked into the site.

Laughing sfin...unless we got a discount each time we checked!! I believe last year when I went on the BOE and was compulsively checking, it was up a day or 2 before the specified date, but I didn't get an email letting me know it was up until the publicized date. Of course by then I had printed off the participant list and all the last minute stuff, lol!

Hi sfin: We have never been on a RS tour before, but really looking forward to it. Trying to figure out what to pack.

I have not been on an RS tour nor even to Europe Proper. Traveled to England, Ireland, and Wales in the 90's. This will certainly be a new experience for me. I've read as much as possible about what to pack. I printed out Rick's Packing List and one from his female tour guide which was more helpful. I have my clothes chosen but the critical factors will be weather predictions and comfort. I figure as long as I have clothes on no one will care!

I notice our second day in Rome is spent at the Vatican Museum and related areas. I was wondering if going to the Borghese Gallery after lunch on that day would be too much? Think we get a Museum Pass for Paris. What about a Roma Pass? Should I plan to get a ticket to Borghese before leaving?
