BOE 14 days in October- BMW museume tour

This is my 2nd RS tour. But I am thinking I might be over planning for the time allotted.

Wondering if touring the BMW museum in Munich is doable with the amount of free time available. I want to have options available for free time but am pretty sure due to the fast pace of the tour I might want to spend my time jsut exploring.

Thoughts...

It should be possible. According to the tour itinerary your afternoon onward are free so you'd just hop on the subway and go to the museum. I think you'll need to get an admission ticket for the museum in advance.

We loved the BMW museum. You can see their eye for design starting with their motorcycles. They are works of art. My husband is visually impaired. They provided a pair of gloves and allowed him to touch any of the motorcycles and cars. Our son, an engineer, took the factory tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were there for a couple of hours. It was a highlight for us for our trip to Munich. It is nearby the Olympic Park where the tragic killing of Israeli athletes took place in 1972. We walked through the area somberly reflecting on that terrible tragedy.

The BMW museum was well worth the visit. Allow at least two hours if not more.

BMW museum is great activity that is free. Just the cost of RT bus or subway will get there and back.
It’s a 14-17 minute ride one way depending on what you chose.

Entrance is free. Allow a good 2 hours. It closes at 6pm. We enjoyed it and it was a good change
from cultural sightseeing.

Afterwards We walked a few minutes to visit the Olympic Park to do remembrance for the athletes.. It
It has an admission fee of 11 euros. Check their website as it hosts all types of venues especially concerts. The park is open 24 hours so if you’re free til the next day you could visit both places if interested.
