I'd like any comments on the "Best of the Adriatic." Specifically, are the hotels smoke free? Has the smoke free movement conquered this part of Europe?

I took this tour a couple of years ago. All of the hotels are smoke free. The hotel room in Plitvice (one night) had a slight cigarette odor. It also didn't have A/C so it felt a little stuffy. Otherwise, I don't recall smoking being an issue.

We took this tour a few years ago and loved it. I don't recall any hotel with a smoking issue for us oh so prissy non-smokers. Realize smokers are everywhere and sometimes don't realize the impact they have on others. When sitting outdoors to enjoy food and drink and despite my best efforts to avoid smoke/smokers....I'm a magnet.

Hi Ken, I have taken 11 RS tours and the Adriatic tour is in my top 5. Each location seemed to be better than th previous. The beautiful architecture, nature, fascinating history, and great food were all positives. It was a bit hot in June but all hotels except Plitvice had A/C. This tour seemed more laid-back and less museum-heavy.
