I had planned to wait till fall to sign up, glad I didn't wait!
The last April departure of Greece just filled up. I think because the following departure date is more expensive, and why pay $200 more for a departure only 2 days later? lol.
That's why I sign up early to get the $100 off and the departure date I want. My husband and I had our dates off of work and no sense taking a chance not getting the time frame we want with no guarantee the departure I want will go on future sale. If your more flexible waiting can make sense, but not for us. Glad you got the departure and tour you wanted!
Since I'm retired, I can go when I want, but it feels a bit strange to have basically every part of a trip for next spring arranged. I even found and purchased decent airfare.
Liz, We've had most details of a trip to the Adriatic this Sept (not with RS) planned since Dec and are currently planning a trip to London in early Spring of 2020. The early bird gets the worm-and options for other meals.
I'm glad I didn't wait either - I'm signed up for that trip on that date. Can't wait! The single supplements sell out pretty fast, so I try to book as early as possible.
I took this tour with a slightly earlier departure date a couple of years ago and loved it.
It was a little chilly to start but not uncomfortable and the rain was not bad either, just a couple of days with some showers.
It's a lovely and relatively uncrowded region to explore and enjoy.
I don't think that you will sorry!
(I like to travel a bit off season now that I am semi-retired with a very flexible schedule and I just signed up for the Best of Sicily leaving April 19th.)
Happy trails!
Hi SharYn,
I did the Sicily tour in March 2018. The weather was perfect and I loved Sicily.
