Best of Spain. Begin tour on Monday or Saturday?

We are planning to go on this tour in 2016. Most tours begin on Monday a few on Saturday. Is anyone aware of pro's/con's regarding either schedule? Thanks.

I think it would simply be about your personal schedule and travel time. Although some museums may be closed on some days, the tours would have already taken that into account and will make sure you are there on the days they are open. My work schedule is usually my deciding factor. Also, some people like to do a pre-tour stay of a couple of days to acclimate to the new time zone and do some private touring. For someone who works Monday through Friday, a tour that starts on Monday allows for this and those who don't have the time off to have that luxury, can start their tour on Saturday.

Hope this helps.

Alan, we are on the tour right now. Started on Saturday the 26 of September but arrived in Barcelona the Thursday before. You might want to check closing days of museums, etc., if you do plan to arrive a couple of days early. I think several sights are closed on Mondays and since your tour won't start til late afternoon, you will have time that day to do sightseeing on your own. That was one reason we chose to start on Saturday. Also, flights are usually cheaper mid-week, so take that into consideration when figuring out what day you'll want to arrive.
