Best of Scandinavia tour Seafood Lunch

The Scandinavia tour includes a seafood lunch on the trip to Oslo. I assume they have other options for those that are allergic to seafood and shellfish. My husband is very allergic to shellfish. Does anyone recall what the other options were?
Did anyone have any issues with cross-contamination, which sometimes happens when seafood is being served along with other food items?

We will be sure to alert our tour director, and we always travel with Benadryl, but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks!

On past tours, the RS guides have been excellent with making sure there is an option for those with food allergies and limitations. You need to let the guide know ahead of time

There is an opportunity on the website to provide food and medical concerns upon confirmation of a tour. The follow-up to this is often addressed by the guide at the start of the tour. Your best resource will be your the guides who I’ve seen worked tirelessly to ensure the health, safety and general comfort of each member of the group.

We did this tour this past Jul/Aug. When you ask "...on the trip to Oslo" do you mean coming up the west coast of Sweden? There was a stop a couple of hours before we got to Oslo. The options were a delicious mussel soup and a delicious vegetable soup. There were also breads (inc. gluten free, if that matters).

Considering that this allergy can be life-threatening, I would want an Epi-pen in addition to the Benadryl.
