Best of Scandinavia 10 - 23 June. Anybody else on that tour?

I just fired up my Visa and paid for the Best of Scandinavia tour. I'll be traveling solo with the single supplement.

My dates are 10-23 June. I should (standby) be arriving in Amsterdam on 6 June and will spend 2 nights there. Then I'll fly on to Stockholm on 8 June and spend 2 nights there in the tour hotel before the tour starts on 10 June.

Similarly, after the end of the tour, I'll spend 2 nights in Bergen in the tour hotel (gotta see the Midsummer festivities if I can stay awake that late). I'll fly to Amsterdam on 25 June, spend 2 nights and fly back to Seattle on 27 June.

I'd love to meet anyone who is going to be on that tour or in any of those places at the same time I am.

Sounds like fun to be there for Midsummer. We’ll be following you in August (7-20). Heading straight to Stockholm. Did my plane reservations this week, so it’s becoming more real. Combing the Sweden thread for ideas on 2-3 days in Stockholm. Share if you find some great finds.

Patty I won't be on your tour but will be on the same tour starting July 1st. Our group of 6 fly though Amsterdam from SFO to Stockholm on 6/27 so me may pass you in the air. At the end of the tip we fly from Bergen to Amsterdam for four nights. So please post how your trip went and any recommended places to eat on your free nights.

It sounds like we're going to be on the same tour in June. My sister, daughter and I will also be arriving in Stockholm on the 8th and staying in the tour hotel. We will also be going to Bergen for the Midsummer festival. We look forward to meeting you.

Went last year. Had an awesome time. Glad you’re spending an extra couple nights in Bergen—it’s a blast. Have fun!
