Does anyone remember what time the walking tour of the Marais District ends, around?
and what time we visit the Louvre that evening?
You probably need to call the RS office with these questions. The schedule varies from tour to tour, as well as from year to year. The office can give you an idea of what is planned, but the guides have to be flexible, and often make changes on the fly.
Hi.
When I took the tour the Maris walk ended about 12:00 and we broke up for lunch. I think the time will depend on the guide, but probably not later than 1:00. It is a morning tour I think the tour of the Louvre statred about 6:00. We were there for 2-2:30 hours and were done by 8:00.
Barbara's timeline sounds about right. After the organized morning Marais stroll, I believe we visited the Picasso Museum with another member of the tour group, had time for a fairly leisurely lunch, took the Metro back to our neighborhood, walked over to Rue Cler for gelato and the world's most amazing strawberries, stopped by a grocery to pick up a few things, rested briefly at the hotel, then headed to the Louvre with the group. Most of us went for dinner together after the Louvre. It was a very long day, but we had plenty of time on our own in the afternoon to wear ourselves out. ;-)
