Anyone done Best of London with another RS tour in another country? Or has anyone done Best of London then Best of England back to back?
Considering London then Ireland 14 days.
Thank you!
Not this particular combo, but we've done Scotland and then Southern England. This was a great way to maximize our time and cost to fly to Europe. We planned a five day break between the two for independent travel and decompressing, and were glad to have that time between group tours. Your two choices sound great - a city tour, and then Ireland with its mix of city and many small, countryside spots. Have a wonderful time!
We did the Best of London followed by the Best of England in June of 2023. We finished the BoL Tour on a Saturday morning and took a train to Salisbury where we spent the night. We left Sunday shortly after noon on a train to Bath for the Sunday BoE meet and greet. If any one is looking to do both of these tours and has the time to do them together we would recommend it. Having done the BoL Tour and then coming back to London at the end of the BoE Tour we found out just how much of London we would have missed if we had only done the BoE tour.
Good advice, thank you!
I've been on back-to-back RS tours 3 times and planning to take the Best of Scotland followed by the Best of London in the beginning of September 2007. I'm following Scotland with London because after two weeks of moving every couple days or so is tiring. Taking a four-hour train from Edinbourgh to the BofL tour which stays in one hotel and probably warmer compared to Scotland as well as fall progresses. Flying into Glasgow then out of Heathrow allowing me to maybe take a side trip to Liverpool too. Yeah, yeah, yeah!
