We have booked the Best of Italy for April 6th, 2018. Our first RS tour. What should be expected for weather? I read of possible snow in the Dolomite Alps. Anyone taken this trip in April? Does it get somewhat chilly in the north? Really excited about this tour.
You can look at historical weather for any city here (just plug in the city and use the dropdown for the month and year):

I took this tour in October, 2016 and the weather in the Dolomites was cold, in the 30's overnight and 50's in the day time. As we traveled south, the temperatures became warmer. Rome was in the 70's. I would expect April to be similar as the tour starts in the north and ends in Rome. I think layers will work best here. On our hikes in the mountains, I bought gloves in the nearest outdoors shop. Hope this helps.
