We are so excited to begin our first Rick Steves' Tour in Italy. We are going in late May to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. Anyone else on this tour? We are flying to Milan for a couple of days prior to meeting our group in Varenna.
We've scheduled an Art Tour in Milan including viewing the Lord's Supper. Any other suggestions, restaurant recommendations, etc.?

Hotel Berna is a great place to stay. Also the La Scala opera house was a highlight in Milan.

You will love this tour. I did it in 2016 and spent 2 days in advance in Milan. Did the Walks of Italy tour in the historic center that included tickets to the Last Supper. Loved it! Also went on Walks of Italy tour of the Art Gallery in the La Brera (sp.) which was very good, only 3 people on the tour and the guide knew so much about the paintings. Plus, I wandered around the Brera neighborhood, very interesting with lots of people out and about on a Sat. afternoon. Also, toured La Scala.
I am taking this tour in September. Cannot wait! It is my #1 "bucket list" trip. I will be checking out this sight tips etc from folks who have taken this particular tour prior. Besides this page, are there perhaps any FB groups for this tour?
