Best of Eastern Europe - Laundry

Next Month we will be doing our second Rick Steves tour. Does anyone remember a place where there was a little free time and a convenient place to do laundry? We did laundry in Murren while on the GAS tour and it was so nice to be able to. Thank you!

Our guide on that tour, Etelka, would help people find laundromats as the trip went along. When we got to Budapest she announced that in the morning she was dropping off clothes to be done by the ladies there.
Many of us walked with her, picked up the clothes in the early evening before they closed. They were clean, folded and some pressed. Not expensive and well worth the time.

You'll love this trip! Have a great time!
do you know who your guide is?

We also did our laundry on that tour in Budapest so that may be the norm. We dropped it off in the afternoon and picked it up the next morning folded and bagged. At the time it was not a long walk and was easy to get to.

When I was on that tour our guide pointed out a place where laundry could be dropped off in Krakow. Not sure if that's still an option given that I was there on the 16 day tour when we had 3 nights in Krakow, but I wouldn't stress about it. Sounds like each guide will make sure you have an opportunity for laundry. Eastern Europe was my first RS tour and it was amazing! I'm doing GAS this year as my second. Have a great time!

I took this tour in June 2014 and I dropped off my laundry at a place in Krakow. That worked out perfectly for me. They washed and folded it at a reasonable price and I picked it up later that day. This tour is fabulous!
