Hello all,
Booked the Andalucia tour for next year beginning on April 13. Anyone been on this tour and/or have any advice?
Additionally, has anyone been to Italica, the ruins of the town that Emperor Hadrian was from? It’s near Seville. If so, how did you get there? Is there a bus or a half day tour you could recommend?
Thanks!
Cheryl
Hi Cheryl,
I was there several years ago. If you are interested in Roman ruins, it can certainly be a worthwhile day trip from Sevilla. I had a rental car when I was there, but you can also get there by bus. Bus #M-170A or #M-170B from Sevilla’s Plaza de Armas station (2/hour Mon-Sat, hourly on Sun, 30 minutes). Italica ruins are closed on Mondays. There is a small paragraph on Italica in Rick's Spain guidebook (p. 738-739, 19th Edition).
Thanks Rich for the great information! I’m looking forward to my tour.

If you are a Game of Thrones follower, some of it was filmed at Italica.
LOVED this tour. The right amount of time in each of the stops. The bull farm was very educational, and it really changed my mind about bullfighting. All the towns/cities were just beautiful. Enjoy!
