Best day of the Year!

I received confirmation that my July RS Scandinavia Tour is fully paid! It's been over two years since we last went on one of the tours and miss the excitement of going to a country I've never been to and learning about their history and customs. I even miss the old creaky hotels that RS loves to stay at, it just adds to the ambiance of the trip! Most of all I miss the comradery of the folks who seem to take these tours, we've been on seven prior tours and on every one, the people were friendly, polite and everyone enjoyed our meals together.

Donald,
I know that excitement. The next best day is when you get your tour mate list, We had a great time on our tour. Does your tour have a wait list? We had 19 people on our tour that started March 30th. It was great having to only learn 17 names. Actually there was another couple named David and Janet, so we only had to learn 15 names! Have a great trip! Say hello to Bonnie.

Donald-

Just curious…. Did you get good flight for your Scandinavian tour?

We use United (have bunches of points plus their mileage cc card). I just got off 2hr 15 wait/call with them. I noticed on my app that they cancelled our outbound flight. I did a search on flights before I called. Now all flight with them 2 or 3 stops. No flights from east coast to Stockholm. Now all fly to another European city then to Stockholm.

We are now Tulsa to Chicago; Chicago to Zurich; then Swiss air Zurich to Stockholm.

Glad I looked today.

Donald,
Congratulations! Scandinavia was my first RS tour in 2017. I did a trip report if you want to check it out. There are photos of the hotels we stayed at. I tell everyone that I would move to Sweden (in the summer of course) in a heart beat if my family would come and I could continue to work.
