Belfast after the end of the Best of Ireland tour

Our flight home isn't until the following day, so we have the morning and afternoon to see more of Belfast. Does anyone have recommendations on what we should see?

What doesn’t the tour cover? Belfast is a lovely city, very vibrant, and you could do all tourist things or no tourist things (or anything in between). Highlights for us were a black cab tour around Falls Road and Shankill Road, Titanic Belfast, and a Game of Thrones Tour along the Antrim Coast. Maybe check here for anything that catches your eye?: https://visitbelfast.com/

Otherwise just soak it up, tons of amazing pubs and bars and a bit of a foodie city - enjoy!

Titanic Museum, eat seafood at Mourne’s next to Kelly’s Cellars, and have a pint at The Spainard.

Or as suggested above visit the Peace Wall and the prison.

Black Cab tour was extremely educational! I highly recommend it! Our driver also took us up to Giants Causeway & to Bushmills Distillery.

We enjoyed the Botanical Gardens and Queens University. A beautiful area to walk and lots of good restaurants in that area.

I went to a play at the Lyric Theatre after the tour ended. If you are interested in theatre or music, you might check the various venues in Belfast.

The Titanic Museum is included in the tour, unless something has changed. I had time after the tour to visit the Belfast Museum, which was quite good, about 20 minutes' walk south from the Europa Hotel. I also used some free time during the tour to see the exhibits in the City Hall.

While our tour bus took us around and through the former "Peace Wall," and the guide (Belfast native Susie Millar) told us a lot about the Troubles, I expect a black cab tour would be a much more immersive experience if time allows and you're more interested.
