The Hotel Conde Duque in Bilbao is the last hotel on the Basque Country Tour. We sent an email to the hotel a week ago, hoping to add a couple of nights following the tour September 2022. We didn't receive a response, and so re-sent the email, but still no response. Just wondering if anyone else who also signed up for that tour has tried to contact the hotel with success.

Google shows it is temporarily closed. They may not be checking their email as often as usual.

I just booked a night there through Booking.com and sent a message to the hotel and received a message back within 24 hours. There were pleasant to work with. I am curious what is the date that your tour ends there? We will be staying there on Sept. 12th. Your tour looks wonderful...have fun! We are not doing a RS tour this time but really enjoyed our Best of Europe tour with RS 2 years ago

Thanks, Leslie. I didn't think to check open/closure on Google.
Camy: I didn't want to book via Booking because I hoped to be in the same room after the tour ends. We will be there in late September. Besides, Booking.com says there is no availability for the dates I wanted.

In 2016, the tour hotel in Bilbao was the Hotel Abando. I'd stay there again.

Carol, I just realized that you are planning for 2022 and I am going (Lord willing!) in Sept 2021. It seems like a really nice hotel and I like that it has a balcony overlooking the river. Halfway between Old Town and the Guggenheim Museum. I hope that it all works out for you!
