As my husband and I will be traveling on a back to back tour itinerary and would like to start the second tour with mostly clean clothes: Question for previous members of recent Basque Country - Were there any easy spots for laundry - not counting the sink in your room? On other tours in different areas certain hotels have made available a" fill the bag" for a set price laundry option for a two day stop. Thank you for any answers.

We did back-to-back tours in 2024 and the Basque tour was our second one. Our first hotel in Bayonne was the Mercure Hotel Central. There was a laundromat, MyLaverie on 10 Rue Jules Labat that was about 3-4 blocks from the hotel. There was one closer to the train station but it wasn’t open when I was looking. We also did laundry in San Sebastián at Garbimatik Lavanderia on San Lorenzo Kalea. That one required coins but there was a change machine for changing euro bills.

We haven't done this specific tour, so this is just general commenting: After our last RS trip, on a part of our trip in France that wasn't part of a tour.... I will always have bills, coins, credit card and bring small laundry soaps with me. I got to the self serve laundromat; the credit card machine wasn't working. Machine to buy soap didn't take bills. Fortunately I had some coins. And I had bought a small extra laundry soap at a prior laundromat and had it with me. Put laundry in the machine; poured the soap in appropriate place; inserted coins. Machine wasn't working; didn't return money; it was a Sunday early evening with nobody around. I did one load in hot in a different machine with no soap and not enough money for a complete dry. I hugged my washing machine and dryer when we returned home from an otherwise amazing trip!

When I was on this tour in May 2025, I used a laundromat on our free afternoon in Pamplona. I can't remember the laundromat's name, but it was located 1 block from our hotel: Sercotel Leyre, Calle Leyre 7.
