Anyone going to Switzerland?

Yup, we're signed up for the inaugural Best Of Switzerland starting 5/20. 5 weeks & counting. This will be our second Rick Steves tour.

Yes, I'm on the May 30th, "Best of Switzerland" trip! 6 weeks and counting and I can't wait!
I'm really looking forward to this, as it's been over 25 years since I've been to that area. Anxious to see what this new tour has to offer. This will be my third RS Tour and I'm looking forward to another fun filled adventure!

I hope many of you that take the Best of Switzerland tour this year post a tour review. There were only 10 of the tours offered and they filled up very fast. I had planned to take the tour but health issues stopped me from signing up this year. I did notice one of the tours now shows filling fast, so someone cancelled for a July tour. Anyway, I'm sure it will be a great tour and hope to see some great reviews starting in June. Enjoy the tour and I imagine it will be a wonderful tour that will be offered for years to come.

Tony, great idea! It would be very helpful if the folks taking the May/June trips would post a Trip Report so we can get all the specifics. The evaluations have so little info and they take a while to get posted. Thanks in advance!

While I can't make any promises, my plan is to be updating my blog in near-realtime, certainly multiple posts over the course of the tour. Keep an eye on wannatravel.wordpress.com. The tour runs from 5/23-6/3. Updates will depend upon several factors, including the quality of the available wifi as well as fatigue of the author :-)

On a happy note we received our tour packet on Saturday. We're ready!

I am also going on the inaugural BOS (Best of Switzerland, sounds better than GAS, though I have done that one too) and just looked at all the hotels on line. The one at lake Lugano is right on the water and if I read the website right all rooms have a lake view. Actually all the hotels look wonderful.
This is my 8th Rick tour and one that I have been really looking forward to. Chocolate, pastry, nutella all in a stunning setting. Can life get better????

We're going to be on that 6/12 tour also. We go where ever ronnelson goes so this will be our 8th tour together! Been eating lots of Swiss Chocolate to get ready.

Yes, please write trip reports, especially re: Best of Switzerland tour. We plan to sign up for GAS tour in 2017, but we may want to change to BOS instead! Thank you!

We are also going on the inaugural Switzerlalnd tour. We are going to Luzern two days early for some extra exploration. It's out third RS tour and we are looking forward to it immensely.

I'm on the first tour also and I can't believe it's almost here. Still trying to figure out what clothes to take and will be taking one carry on bag.

Yes! We wanted to take this tour but our dates booked up before we could sign up! Planning on next year but really curious to read reviews from those who take this new tour.
