Anyone going on Best of England tour starting 24 July?

Hello,
Was wondering if anyone out there is also going on the Best of England in 14 Days, starting on 24 July?
I'm very excited to see this part of England and meet some new travel friends.
Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy.
Best wishes,
Mark Craig

Mark, I'm not on your tour but I did this one several years ago. It was wonderful! So much variety in what we saw. I guess it's too early for you to have your roster and know who your guide is.

I had Tom Hooper who was just amazing. Because of him, I will never forget when Hadrian's Wall was built - 122AD, nor will I forget his singing the English Monarchs in order from William the Conqueror to the tune of Good King Wenceslas. (Willie, Willie, Harry, Steve...) lol!

I hope you have as much fun as I did!

Thanks for the feedback, Pam! Sounds like a wonderful tour. Both RSE tours I've been on have been fantastic. They really know how to make each tour a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thanks for sharing your wonderful memories. Sounds like your guide was quite a character. They really know how to choose tour guides.
Best wishes!

Hi Teresa,

Nice to meet you (online at least, for now)! Looking forward to meeting you and your family in a few weeks.

My travel party is myself and a dear old friend from high school, Cindy. We're both from Dallas, TX, and super excited to do this tour. This will be Cindy's first Rick Steves tour, although she's been to Europe many times. This will be my third RSE tour; I did the Heart of Italy in 2018, and the Paris & the Heart of France in 2019. I've been to England quite a few times, but haven't done some of the places were' visiting, so very excited to see some new sites!

Are y'all arriving early before the tour starts? Cindy & I are flying in on the 23rd and training out to Bath. We're looking forward to getting over jetlag in Bath; should be a fun trip! Are y'all doing any extra travel on this trip, or are you leaving it all to Rick? I'm curious about what our fellow travelers are planning. I love hearing and sharing travel stories. Will this be your family's first time in Europe? If so, the England trip will be a great way to start.

Best wishes to you all.

We are actually headed into Vienna for three days (our daughter is finishing her study abroad) and flying in two days early. Planning to go on a Beatles Tour, hit a couple of pubs and go general sightseeing.

We will see you soon!
