Amsterdam to Rome family tour July/Aug

Any others going? If anyone has been what was average age. This is a first doing an organized tour for us and generally plan ourselves so could be success or bust. Travelling with two teens (13 and 15) and pretty experienced travelers. Any tips would be great too.

The average of your tour group will vary depending on time of year. Generally summer tours tend to include more families with children, since they are out of school, while fall and winter groups have more older travelers, who are no longer working or have longer vacations.

Since you are going on a Family tour , it will have lots of kids , mostly middle aged parents , and possibly a few grandparents .

I took my Daughter on a Family tour when she was 11 , there was 26 in our group , 14 of whom where children between the ages of 8-17 , if day most kids were 11-15 .

Kids will have blast , they all hung out at back of bus andnit was like a luxury summer camp for them ! Lol

Enjoy! Not on your trip but my teens have been on three RS tours none family tours & have enjoyed them all. We are now planning our 6th and the oldest is no longer a teen but still excited to go & if we can get our College kid to hang with us a little longer it is win! Win! In my book.
I found my kids liked the half time you are on your own so they had down time to do what they wanted. Only one tour our last one had other teens on it. The guides were beyond excellent & they really bounded with them.
They are busy tours & they were very tired by the end. Enjoy!
