I've generally found the RS tour hotels to really work well for me when I add on days after an RS tour or travel independently. Right combination of location, character and price. I'm going to Munich from Vienna after the RS Berlin, Prague and Vienna tour, and I was curious as to which hotel(s) the RS tours typically use in Munich. This is in mid-October, post-Octoberfest. In June, 2013, a RS tour was staying at Hotel am Viktualienmarkt at the same time we were there. We really enjoyed the location, the hotel and the great breakfasts.

A few years ago I was staying at Hotel Blauer Bock in Munich (on my own) before starting the RS Berlin, Prague and Vienna tour. The RS Best of Europe in 14 Days tour was also staying there.

Last month on the GAS tour we stayed in the same hotel as Darcy the year before.
