My husband and are planning a My way alpine tour this summer.. we would like to go to Annecy France for a few days afterwards. What would be the easiest way fastest way. Hopefully not costing $$$.
We read that Annecy is worth the visiting. Any recommendations on what to see and do, places to eat.

If the tour ends in Chamonix you can buy bus tickets to Annecy from there.
The bus or a taxi is quicker. The bus is cheapest.

We've been to Annecy several times. Here's a link to my travel blog with a search for "Annecy." It won't be much help for places to eat, but there's plenty of info on what to do. We've always stayed there w/o a car.
