has anyone flown aegean airlines before? We're planning to take a Rick Steves tour of Greece next year and would like to add some additional time in Italy. Thanks

We used Aegean five years ago. It was fine. It is a discount airlines so watch the fees. Aegean was more like SWest.

Yes, we have flown on Aegean. As mentioned above, similar to Southwest, no frills.

In January 2024, Viking had us fly from Frankfort to Athens on Aegean. It was fine. Everything on the plane was very Aegean blue!

We've flown Aegean airlines several times and found them easy to use. They are the same airline as Olympic, but with different times and distances. Sign up for the newsletter and they'll send you information about discounts. All bags will go underneath because there will be NO ROOM for anything other than the smallest purse, and you'll probably have to take a shuttle to the plane.
