Adriatic Tour May 13-26

Anyone else booked for this one? I'm really looking forward to this trip! I took the Eastern Europe tour in 2015 (when it was still 16 days long) and loved it. On that trip it was absolutely pouring when we were in Plitvice so I'm hoping for some sunny weather for my repeat.
Any suggestions for this trip?

Hi,
Sorry not on this May's B of A trip, but we were on it fall of 2016 and it was pouring on our one day in Plitvice, too. Wishing you better weather.
This tour has a fantastic itinerary! Be prepared for more info on WWI in Slovenia than you will ever need to know. Haha!

Have a great time.

We went in early May a few years ago-the year they were experiencing all the floods in that part of the world. I must say, even though it also rained on us while exploring Plitvice, the waterfalls were so full, they were the most spectacular sights I have ever seen! On a return trip last August, it was sunny and dry and the falls weren't nearly as impressive as that first visit. Still beautiful but not as full and overwhelming as that first time. About the history aspect-you will also learn a lot of history regarding WWII, the break up of Yugoslavia and the Bosnian War, probably from those who have actually experience the latter. It was truly the most awesome tour I have taken with RS. Hoping to do a repeat with my whole family in 2019.

I'm also not on that particular tour, but as I recall the visit to Plitvice wasn't entirely "sunny". It had been raining lightly at times, but that didn't stop some members of the group from going out on the hike.

Suggestions - although the weather will likely be good for much of the trip, I'd suggest packing along some light rain gear and appropriate footwear.

Do you know yet who your guide will be?
