I'm going to book the 14 Day Adriatic coast tour and am wondering if those of you on the tour flew from Dubrovnik to Zagreb and connected to your onward flight on the same day, or if you flew to Zagreb and then stayed overnight and flew out the next day. The reason I ask is that there is only 1 flight per day on British Airlines (using avios to book) and wouldn't want to miss my flight. I've heard Zagreb is an interesting city to visit for a day? Thanks for your thoughts.

Zagreb is a nice city with enough to keep you occupied for the day. One day would certainly be enough.

There's enough in Zagreb to keep you busy for more than one day. It has a very attractive old town (fairly large and somewhat hilly, so you it takes time to see it) as well as a lot of museums. Check guidebooks or online info about the museums so you know whether there are any that especially appeal to you.

Zagreb is a fine city to visit and when we were there, very few American/Canadian tourists were present.

I too enjoyed Zagreb for a day. Make sure to visit the Primitives Museum.
It was a joy to me. Walk around and just enjoy. A day would be just right.
