Do you get to spend any time in Munich after visiting Dachau?

It depends on your guide. Although it's not on the regular itinerary, our guide Dmitri detoured to Munich, where we spent a few hours of free time. My husband and I had time to visit a local church, find an ATM, and find lunch at a wonderful market.
The guides have a fair amount of discretion, and will often throw in "surprises." But ... you won't know in advance what the deviations from the itinerary are.

And I'll just say on my 21 BOE with Dimitri (well before Jane's) we did not. After Dachau we went to a monastery for lunch (Kloster Andechs) and then visited Wieskirche before the overnight in Reutte.
I'd not count on this but if the guide does divert to Munich it will be a nice surprise.
