is there a train station at the airport when you fly in and take a train to Zermatt or do you have to go somewhere else in town? thanks

Zurich Airport has a full service train station. Check the Swiss Rail web site(www.sbb.ch) for connections. Depending on when you land, there are some departures that require only 1 connection, but there are others that require 2 or 3 connections. It will take about a little over 4 1/2 hours to reach Zermatt.

The Zurich airport is very easy to use. You will have no problem. Try for as few stops as you can get. We will spend the night in Zurich before we take the train to Interlaken as I am so tired. That way we will enjoy the scenery the next day.
