We will be in Zurich for a few days in September, and will have 4 - 5 days to travel from Zurich to Frankfurt. We are thinking of spending a day in Basel, and a couple of days in Strasbourg and then spending our last day in Frankfurt.
We are open to suggestions for reasonably priced hotels (there will be 6 of us), places to eat and things to do. Also, any suggestions on what time to get to and from each city to maximize our time will be extremely appreciated. The only thing we can't change is our 10:00 AM flight leaving Frankfurt. Thank you. Define "reasonable". Because of all the per diem that business travelers receive, Basel is one of the most expensive cities for lodging in Europe.
