We have an early departure from Zurich. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to stay our last night, near the airport? Thanks.

I know that there's a Hilton near the airport with a free shuttle; we stayed there in 2002. Very modern, very Hilton. Not a whole lot of swiss charm.
You could also stay in downtown Zurich near the train station and take an early train to the airport from there.

You don't need to stay near the airport for an early departure. The train runs directly into the Zurich Airport so you have the flexibility of staying anywhere near the main train station.

We just stayed at the Park Inn in Rumlang near the Zurich airport. They have a shuttle service to and from the airport. We thought it was a great place to stay before a flight. I almost stayed downtown -- but changed my mind at the last minute and was so happy I did because the morning of our departure it was pouring down rain and we would have had a wet walk to the train station downtown. You can book on line thru the Park inn website. Very easy.

New question: Can I take the train from ZRH to Interlaken? or do I need a car rental? Once I get to Interlaken, I'm going to Murren, Wengen, Grindelwald over 3 days. Which village should I stay in for the 3 days?

Zurich Airport to Interlaken is an easy 2:15 minute journey by train with a quick change in Bern. As to which village to stay in, flip a coin you can't go wrong with any of them;)

You definitely don't need a car because cars are not even allowed in Wengen or Muerren.
