Alex, One Hotel you might consider is Hotel Walhalla. It's in a fantastic location about a five minute walk from the Zürich Hbf, which is very convenient both for getting local transport as well as reaching the airport if your flight home is from Zürich. Also, the local City Tour operators depart from the car park across the street from the Hotel, and there's a Tram stop right outside the door of the hotel. If the weather is inclement, it's not even necessary to walk to the station as underground access to the Rail City is only a few steps from the hotel. I found the rooms to be modern and clean, and the one I had appeared to have been recently renovated. The staff were efficient and very helpful. Happy travels!
