I've tried several times to buy advance tickets for May 25 at the Teatro Zarzuela in Madrid. I go through the entire process picking seats, credit card info, then at the end I'm told that the operation did not go through. I've tried 2 different Visa accounts from two different computers. Visa has been notified that I'm charging items in Spain. I've used the same card & computer to successfully charge advance Alhambra tickets and hotel rooms within the week. Anyone have any advice for me?
You can call you credit card company to see if the charges were even put through. If not, you know it's a computer/website issue and not a credit card issue. You can try clearing your cookies and browser history, and try using a different browser. Not all sites work well on all browsers, regardless of their claims. And there's no consistency. Recently, I was able to get to a site using Firefox, but another poster said he had to use Internet Explorer and that Firefox wouldn't work - for the same site!
